Landau recognized by National Academies

Bridge Professor Susan Landau, who holds appointments in the Department of Computer Science and at The Fletcher School, was recently designated a National Associate by the Council of the National Academy of Sciences in recognition of her extraordinary service to the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.

The National Associate designation formally recognizes experts who have made outstanding contributions to the National Academies' work while serving on study and oversight committees of the National Academies and as reviewers of reports. The National Academies credit experts like Landau with making possible their crucial work in advising the government and the public on matters of science, technology, and health.

Landau works at the intersection of cyber security, national security, law, and policy. She is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the Association for Computing Machinery, and a member of the National Cyber Security Hall of Fame.
